We arrive Friday 4/13

After a long time getting out of Boston, we had to run to make our connection in Philadelphia, but we all managed to make it. We were greeted in Dublin by Tom Doyle, who has led the Belvedere contingent over to Bosotn the last few years. After a quick bus ride to Belvedere, we were also greeted by Louise Deane, the administrator who oversees Belvedere's international programs. Because Belvedere was on vacation this week, the school was quiet. We enjoyed a light breakfast with tea and juice before we recieved our folders with our Leaf cards (T Passes) and lunch vouchers. Tom gave us a detailed orientation about our activities for the next two weeks, followed by a tour of the school buildings and the rooms where we'll be assembling. By 11:30 most of the parents had arrived to take us home, but everyone was enjoying their reunion so much, it was hard to get folks to leave! Eventually we all made our ways to our various homes and some much-needed rest, to come together again on Monday morning.
